About MYLEMU

Born from a need to slow down. To listen more closely. To let creation follow nature’s rhythm instead of urgency. It is a quiet space where objects are allowed to take time — to be shaped, fired, refined, and finished without haste. MYLEMU is not about trends. It is not about mass production, perfection, or speed. It does not rush to be everywhere. It does not try to be for everyone.

MYLEMU is about intentional creation. The name itself is a quiet reminder, Make Your Life Entirely Mindful & Unique.

Each piece begins as a sculpted form made by hand — inspired by beetles, birds, plants, bones, and quiet moments found in Saaremaa’s landscapes. Nature is not used as decoration here, but as language. Porcelain is chosen for its fragility and strength. Gold is added sparingly — not to impress, but to honour detail. Silence, space, and restraint are part of the design.

Some pieces are small and intimate. Others are sculptural and meant to anchor a room. This is intentional. Not everything needs to cost the same — because not everything carries the same weight, time, or presence. Each object is priced according to its making, its complexity, and its role. Together, they form a living collection — not a catalogue, but an ecosystem.

MYLEMU is for those who value slow craftsmanship, who prefer depth over noise, and who believe that beauty does not need to shout. These pieces of art are meant to be used, lived with, and returned to — again and again.

A quiet system. A gentle becoming.

The Creators Story

My name is Silja-Ellen Vaga, and I was born and raised on the island of Saaremaa. From the very beginning, I have been a quiet, curious, and creative soul.

Art and craft found me early — through clay pressed between small fingers, coloured paper scattered across tables, chestnut animals, handmade bows and arrows, forest forts, doll clothes, and knitted experiments. Nature was my playground, and imagination grew there freely, stubborn and colourful, like wild grass.

Over time, and somewhat unexpectedly, this path carried me through years of learning, exploring art, craft, and design in many forms. Somewhere along the way, I came to know myself more deeply — and arrived here, simply to say this:

I love nature. Deeply and entirely. Trees and plants, animals and birds, reptiles, fish, and insects. Especially the nature of Saaremaa. I am drawn to the way the unique ecosystem is built from countless small details, each essential to the whole. I find beauty not only in what is traditionally admired, but in what is often overlooked — mushrooms, bats, jackdaws, ravens, beetles, ivy, wildflowers, grass snakes. Forests and seas, fields and bogs. All of it matters.

MYLEMU was born from this way of seeing. A place where curiosity leads, where making is slow, and where materials are explored with patience and respect. I believe there is always more to learn — to test, to question, to understand what a material can become and what it quietly asks for. The more I learn, the more I realise how much remains unknown.

This is an ongoing journey of learning, experimenting, and sharing the joy of creating by hand. MYLEMU exists for those who feel the same pull — to explore, to invent, to build something meaningful with their own hands, and to find beauty in the quiet, intricate stories of nature.
