Inspired by childhood days spent mushroom foraging with Grandad — walking slowly through the woods, learning to notice what grows quietly at the roots of trees — this mug carries those memories in a different register. Mushroom magic and water live in one piece: tender forest light held in still, marbled blue.

The body is thrown from two clays, creating a marbled effect: cream and deep blue folded together so the surface moves like a still pool after rain. No two swirls are the same. The form is tall and generous, made for lingering sips and everyday rituals. Its handle grows from the cup as a slender amanita — a sculpted stem rising into a soft, gilled cap, with a small cluster of forest detail at its base. Every part is shaped by hand, so each mug holds its own slight variations in marble, glaze, and form.

The mushroom handle brings a surprising comfort to the hand, while the marbled body feels quietly luxurious — a unique way of bringing woodland details to the breakfast table. The body holds a generous 700 ml of any of your favourite beverages, whether tea, coffee, milk or Granny's special apple juice.

Glazed to a gentle gloss, it is both functional and sculptural. Equally at home on a morning table, a quiet windowsill, or as a tactile companion through the day. Made to be used, held, and kept. When cared for with love, it can become an heirloom of small, daily wonder.

One of a kind. A soft, luminous presence for those drawn to nature’s quieter forms and the beauty of slow, handmade objects.
