From the shadowy undergrowth to your jewelry collection — these stunning porcelain beetle earrings honor the deep indigo sheen of the Anoplotrupes stercorosus also known as the dor beetle, a forest-dwelling dung beetle known for its quiet strength and essential role in the woodland cycle.

Each piece begins as my own original sculpture, shaped in fine detail before I craft a handmade plaster mold. From this mold, I cast every beetle in porcelain, tinting the clay beforehand with a rich, deep, blue-black pigment to echo the beetle’s true coloring. Once fired, I hand-paint delicate gold highlights to celebrate its sculptural form and subtle elegance. The earrings are finished with comfortable round hooks for effortless wear.

Earthy, bold, and full of life, these earrings are for those who admire nature’s hardest workers and want to keep a fragment of the forest’s hidden world close to them.

Perfect for:

Nature lovers, entomology admirers, statement jewelry wearers, and anyone who cherishes meaningful, handmade treasures.

Wear them as a subtle reminder that even the smallest creatures play a mighty role in keeping the world in balance.
