Love Biter comes from a quieter meadow than the summer ones: a beetle dreamed rather than found. Pale lavender porcelain, 14k gold tracing the wing cases and eyes, as if a rose chafer had slipped out of sleep and kept its softness.

"Everything begins as a vision, which I shape in clay — a beetle that never quite lived in the meadow, only in the mind. From that first model I make my own plaster mold, then pour every piece in fine porcelain, one at a time. After firing, 14k gold is laid along the wing cases and eyes by hand, so the pale lavender body looks as if it has just been touched by moonlight. The earrings swing from quiet hoops; the pendant rests against the throat on a gold chain. Worn together they feel like two creatures from the same dream — one listening, two keeping watch."

Slight variations are part of their character. Handmade in small batches.
