Watersnake Mug

The lower body is left in raw spotted clay, warm and speckled like sand after the tide. Above it, a watery glaze runs and pools in blues, as if the sea has just washed over the cup. A snake slides through this landscape like a unique chameleon, winding between small sculpted mushrooms that seem to grow from both clay and glaze.
